This is NOT a hacked game. It IS possible to play this. You just have to tilt the control stick up or down to change the pitch of the notes, and press Z and R to go up or down a half-tone. Try it yourself! This works on Virtual Console, 3DS, and Nintendo 64. As for the background track in the video, that's the piano part of Fi's Theme. There's actually 2 tracks for Fi's Theme, one containing the flute part, and one containing only the piano part. When I was ripping the game's music, there were 2 tracks, so I just used the piano part. :) PS: You can even play vibrato if you tilt the control stick left or right on the N64 controller, or press left or ...
